Jen, You will need two(2) brackets 8206334 . There are two retainer araes on the top trim of the vent shield, that you insert the brackets into. palce the two rtabs on the bottom trim of the shield in the opening, raise the trim top into position and insert and install the two screws,theough the openings in the outer cabinet top and tighten carefully. Don't overtighten the screws, finger or hand tight is enough. Thanks and Good Luck
