David M. June 17, 2011 for Model Number RRE15EZ Back hanging bracket missing. Does replacement include brackets and screws? Is it a matter of removing the screws and pulling out the old element to replace it with a new one?
1 Answer Hello David! The model number supplied, RRE15EZ, does not pull any information in our systems. The broil element 326795 will include the two brackets that are on the element listed in the picture. Here is some information on replacing bake/broil elements, hope it helps! You will need to unplug the range. Remove the oven racks. In the back of the electric range, there are two screws that hold on a bake element. Remove these two screws and gently pull the element towards the door opening. Remove the wires from the bake element one at a time. You may need to use long nosed pliers to remove the wires. Be careful that the wiring doesn't fall back through the back of the oven. Once the wires have been removed, discard the old element and replace it with the new one. Once the new element is installed, plug the unit back in and test. Read More...
