Susan Butler December 26, 2018 for Model Number JDB8910AWS Our washer door gave a snap, and the door fell open. We don't know if we can take precautions, open it, and simply reattach something. Or if we are likely to need a specific part. (if likely, we'd rather have it ready once we go to the trouble of pulling out) a couple of years ago, we had to replace the soft-drop cable (ordering whirlpool part ap6014415) but can't remember if it was acting this way then. Suggestions? Thank you!!
