Ronald, based on the information provided, the main control WPW10137702 would be the most likely cause. It sounds like the selector is not being registered properly within the control when the data is sent between the user control and the main control.

Maytag Epic Front Loader about 8 years old... FH error. Just swapped out the CCU in the back of the washer. I was hoping this would finally resolve an F H (no water) error after addressing everything else. Inlet valve and hoses are good, water is ON. Measured with a multimeter and not getting 110 volts to the inlet valves so they won’t open and no water is entering the machine. SEEING only 30 volts. Checked the wires for continuity - all good. Even tested the CCU board where the Hot Cold wires are hooked up to (VCH7) and only seeing 30 Volts at the board. It would seem that the solenoids won’t open because they are not getting enough juice. This is with the new CCU board W10137702. Any last help would be appreciated or this machine is going to the curb. Did all types of checks with the pressure switch, flow meter and inlet valves and water hoses/ screens. Both hoses are good and can easily fill a bucket with high pressure water. Thanks.

JVSJohn, With there only being 30Vac coming out of the control board to the valves when the unit is supposed to be filling with water then this will be the issue and would have to be a control board that is causing the issue. Make sure that you disconnect the connector when checking for the voltage coming off the board. You could have a connector issue.

Henry, You will want to make sure that the water supply is turned on and the hoses are not kinked. If water is running into the unit then check to make sure that there is not a siphoning issue where the drain hose may be pushed into the standpipe too far. IF these things check ok then the issue will most likely be in the main control board.

Gregg, The F14 error code for your unti is a EEPROM error. The central control receives its data from an EEPROM on board the CC. If there is an error in reading the EEPROM then it will show this error code. Things that will cause this may be a power glitch. Unplug the unit for 2 minutes and then verify the CCU operation by running a diagnostic test. If the test fails or the error comes back then replace the CCU. The CCU part number is WPW10137702.

Hello George, You will need to run the diagnostic test to determine the issue. The tech sheet explains this as follows: DIAGNOSTIC TEST The washer must be empty and the control must be in the OFF state before pressing the touch-pad sequence to start the test. Starting the Test Mode ¦ Close the door. ¦ Push CONTROL/ON (if present on this model). ¦ Select the DRAIN/SPIN cycle. ¦ Select NO SPIN by pressing the SPIN SPEED touch-pad. ¦ Push PREWASH OPTION four times within five seconds. (If PREWASH OPTION is not present on this model, press RINSE HOLD four times within five seconds.) C:00 will light up on the display. If the Starting procedure fails, push the PAUSE/CANCEL touch-pad, then repeat the starting procedure. Test Program Control In order to advance to the next step of the test procedure, push PREWASH OPTION touch-pad two times. If PREWASH OPTION is not present on this model, press RINSE HOLD two times. If the unit will not go into the diagnostic mode, the CCU WPW10137702 will require replacement.

Devon for Model Number KHWS01PWHO

I have an 8 year old Kitchen-aid Washing Machine KHWS01PWHO. Over the last 6+ months an F11 error pops up and has become much more re-occurring over the last month or so. Sometimes a load or two will complete just fine, other times the F11 error pops up at random times during the cycle. Our solution thus far has been to unplug the unit for a few minutes, plug it back in and restart it, sometimes this works, other times it takes a few times of doing this to get it to work. Overall the problem seems to be getting progressively worse. I've tried googling this F11 problem and see anything from replacing boards, to lose wires to replacing door lock assembly. The only other repair I did on this unit was replace the drain pump motor about a year back when it went bad and hasn't been a problem since. But that was diagnosed by an F02 error and was pretty straight forward. What suggestions or things can I do to diagnose this F11 problem And in what order? I'm pretty hands on and prefer to do my own repairs whenever possible, but this F11 error seems to have many different possible causes. Thanks very much!

Devon, The F11 error code is an indicator that there is a serial communication error. You will want to check the wire harness connections at the Motor control unit (MCU), the central control unit (CCU) and the motor. Check the drive system for any worn or failed components. Verify the CCU operation by running through a diagnostic test or any cycle. Check the MCU by looking of operations of the drive motor. Check the drive motor for powered rotations. Check that the serial harness at the MCU is not mounted upside down. The wires should be to the left when facing the MCU connections.
