Whirlpool WP8182862 Water Valve OEM Part

I replaced the supply lines and mesh in-line filters. I made sure incoming water pressure was strong. I also cleared some debris from the internal drain filter down below. The F20 persisted. My plan was to start swapping out parts from the inlet on. I ordered the valve and got it in a day. Thanks to the schematics and videos on appliancepartspros.com, I was comfortable with the repair, and had confidence in my plan. The actual valve replacement took about 10 minutes. Bingo bango F20 gone. Back to work wife!! j/k Thanks appliancepartspros.com!!! You saved us a call to the repairman, and I look like a hero.

Ordered water inlet valve from American Parts Pros (standard delivery) on Monday, it was delivered on Tuesday. Removed top cover and replaced water inlet valve, replacement was easy. We watched a video prior to ordering.

Water flow to my 7-year-old washer was really slow. We were getting the dreaded Whirlpool F20 code. Most washes wouldn't complete. By opening and removing the dispenser and then running a load, you can easily verify whether there is enough pressure to drop water in the correct dispenser compartments. The water in my washer was just dribbling in the back. After replacing the water valve, water pressure was high and the washer works like new!

Ordered valve on Mon. Received valve on Tue. Removed 4 screws and one hose clamp. Removed valve and replaced. Replaced clamp and 4 screws, and no more leak. Obviously I unplugged and turned off water first.

I orderd switch, valve and flowmeter based upon information on line that these three parts were at fault. The videos offered wer excellent.It was easy. The videos took the fear factor out of the equation.
