Hello John. Based on the two model numbers you provided, it does not show the compressors as being cross overs to use on the unit. For the Maytag, you will need to use W10309995 or W10309994 depending on the serial number.

Hi Brenda. This compressor is also used in similar models that use a Copper loop coil that resides in a black 4" tall x 6" round defrost pan. It is no longer in use. So the compressor is plugged and marked with a large red tag through the lowest 2-ports used for this issue. Your model uses this compressor but does not need to touch these ports. The port on the left (single) is for the process tub adapter unless sent with instructions stating otherwise. The mid placed rt. port is the discharge side port. The one close to it on the rt. but at the highest point is the suction port. Use all parts in the kit as the compressor is designed for them. Thank You.

Hi Joel. Unless you contact the compressor manufacture and find different, it should be 1/4 Hp. They have'nt given this rating in a number of years, all depending on B.T.U. ratings now. The pictures we have @ your model has been taken from the top of the compressor, so I was not able to convert the 240vac and B.T.U. ratings into H.P. EMBRACO Compressors are (for the most part) 1/4 hp. Your specific origional compressor should have a B.T.U. rating , can you tell me what that is? Thank you.

Hi Joel. The inverter should put out on the RED/WHITE & RED Wires, 3-6 vdc. On the Blk. & White Wires 120 vac. AT the main control board P7-3 (RED) & P7-8 (RED/WHITE), 3-6 vdc. Double check the compressor 3-pins connectors. Any two pins should read approx. 9-10 ohms. Check the pins to make sure they are not grounded to the frame. If The Btu Ratings are the sames or slightly larger then it should be ok. The compressor is part # W10309995. Did he change the filter drier as you are factory advised part # is WPW10143759. The condenser fan motor needs to be working up to proper speed, this part # is WP2169135. Hope this helps. Thank you.
