Joe C. August 06, 2016 for Model Number KSSS48MHX00 The refrigerator cycles on at different temperatures: sometimes 45°, 37°, or shuts off at 44° (I assume that is for defrost). The dead band avgerage is 28°-48°. Comp mod # fgs100ha/aug 1999. I know its old and is very very hot, condensing unit is cleaned regularly. What compressor is replaceable and is it more efficient?
1 Answer Hello Joe, The compressor is part number W10309995 but if it is running hot it is more likely an air flow issue or possibly a sealed system restriction that is overloading the compressor.
