1 Answer Hello J.J., After power is turned off to the machine, the inner door panel has to be removed and the control board and door latch assemblies have to be removed form the inner control panel. Once everything is removed from the it, the screws retaining the control panel can be removed and the new one installed in the reverse order. Brian B. October 06, 2012 for Model Number GU980SCGB2 Whirlpool dishwasher. Runs through complete cycle in any selected cycle, then goes right back into start of another cycle. Ever when you cancel and drain, it will stop and start complete cycle again. Do not know if it may be trouble with electronic control. Thanks alot, Brian B.

It seems these cycle selector pads all stopped working about the same time (but am not quite sure of that.)
