I was wondering if this part 8524443 has the interface and control board in it or if it is just the outer casing?

Pete January 24, 2012 for Model Number kuds01fkpao The on switch cover is cracked and is a bit hard to push to get it to turn on. Do I need to replace both the panel and the interface board also? All of the buttons work OK except the on button which is a bit hard to push to get it to turn on sometimes.

Do all srews on the inside of the door panel have to be removed or just specific screws? Does the front exterior panel have to be removed or just the inside door panel? Are any specific or special tools required? Do you also sell a repair manual specific for this manual?
1 Answer Hi Greg. You 1st remove power. Then just remove the screws on the inside of the door panel where the control panel connects. This should give access to all internal parts such as the latch assy, door vent and the control panel mount and board assy.
