Is there also a similar part that also attaches in the center of the upper rack to help distribute the water? 1 Answer Rob, No, there is no diffuser/nozzle mounted to the upper dishwasher rack. The WP8268825 Tower Protector is attached to the lower rack to keep articles from interfering with the "pop up" nozzle, so the spray nozzle at the top of the nozzle can properly "fan out" and reach and wash the articles on the upper dishwasher rack.
