This door boot seal is the flexible gasket that surrounds the front-load washer's door opening. It restores a watertight seal to stop leaks when the original becomes torn, warped, or no longer seats correctly.

  • Creates a watertight barrier between the door opening and outer tub
  • Prevents water from escaping the front panel during wash and spin
  • Helps cushion the door/tub interface to reduce rubbing and wear
  • Common symptoms: water leaking at the front, visible tears/cracks, loose or misshapen gasket lip
What's included: 1 door boot/diaphragm Install notes:
  • Disconnect power and turn off water before servicing
  • Remove the outer retaining clamp, peel the old boot from the front panel, then remove the inner clamp from the tub
  • Note orientation marks and any hose connections; transfer and seat the new boot evenly
  • Reinstall inner and outer clamps securely and verify an even seal before test cycling

Hi Lori. The door diaphragm part # is WP34001432. The diaphragm has an outer door spring hidden at 6:00 under the front lip. Uncurl the spring and the metal band. Then pull forward and uncurl the outer door bellows off the front door panel. Then there is a outer very large clamp part # is 34001306. That unscrews and need to be new also or the door boot will leak. There are washer cleaning tablets that need to be used monthly for your washer to be optimal in cleaning. Follow the instructions and use hot water . This part # is W10549845. Thank you.

Hello Larry. First disconnect the power to the unit. You will need to remove the top assembly, and remove the control panel and dispenser. You will want to remove the gasket from the front panel inside the door. Next you will need to remove the front panel off the machine. Once removed, you will need to remove the band clamp holding the door gasket to the tub. Reinstall in reverse order. Hope this helps.
