The Dispenser Drawer is an OEM part for Whirlpool top-loading washers. Located internally at the top, it houses separate chambers for laundry detergent and fabric softener.  

Causes of a faulty dispenser drawer can include cracks or warping of the plastic divisions over years of repeated dosage cycles. Caked-on residue may also harden and jam drawers.

Symptoms involve: 

• Difficulty sliding the drawer in/out of its track housing
• Leaks from cracks allowing liquids to mingle or spill prematurely  
• Inability to accurately dispense separate detergents
