John April 04, 2019 for Model Number MER5765RAB This broil element looks quite different from the original in my oven - mine has three curves, this has only two. You're certain this will fit a MER5765RAB? If so, will it function like the original part, with only two curves?
1 Answer John, the model number you have provided is bringing up this part number, WP74008692, the wattage is what you have to look at not the shape of the element. The wattage is stamped on the metal plate where the element mounts to the oven cavity. Read More...

Stan October 04, 2013 for Model Number MER5775RAW Oven worked yesterday, not working this morning. Set oven for 375, only reached a temp of 185 20 minutes later. I know there are to elements, Broil and Bake. Does the Broil Element also add heat when baking.
1 Answer Hello Stan. Yes, during the pre heat cycle it does. You need to test the elements. They should read closed. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
