Chlorn P. July 08, 2015 for Model Number KERC507HBT3 The temperature in the oven fluctuates between 20° and 40° while cooking. Could this be the heating element working improperly?
1 Answer Hello Chlorn, If this has been noticed with a thermometer placed inside the unit you should be aware that the bake temperature is not a constant temperature but an average temperature. This is because the thermostat has to cycle the heating elements on and off since there is no other way to regulate the heat. This is basically man trying to control the laws of science. This sounds like normal operation. Read More...
Kathy March 19, 2014 for Model Number EO 284C-C Hi, My DeLonghi countertop convection oven has a burned up heating element. The closest one I can find to it is the W10280189 That you offer. I don't see where it says it might be compatible with DeLonghi but its almost a perfect match with the exception of the mounting brackets on the element itself which I assume can be moved around. (The part number the DeLonghe Co. gave me is # 512342.) Will the one you offer work? Thank you, Kathy
1 Answer Hello Kathy. I do apologize but we do not carry replacement parts for DeLonghi. Read More...
Rob February 15, 2014 for Model Number KERC607HWH6 Hi, My Oven stopped heating. The Convection fan will spin but I get no heat at all. The element does not how signs of being burned out. Is there a Fuse or resistor that I can check?
1 Answer Hello Rob. You need to test the element. It should read closed for continuity. If good, then the control board 9754383 may be bad in the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
