The Grease Filter is an OEM part for Whirlpool range hoods. It is designed to trap grease and other particles generated during cooking, preventing them from accumulating on the internal components of the range hood and ensuring efficient ventilation. It measures about 11 3/8 inches by 14 inches. 

You should replace this grease filter if it becomes clogged or damaged. Causes of a bad grease filter can include heavy use, buildup of grease and food particles, or damage from cleaning or handling.

Symptoms of a bad grease filter include:

Barbara, The closest we can get is a Broan aluminum filter that measures 8X10 Inches and is 3/8 in. thick. at one time Broan did produce the Magic Chef range hood.

Hello Candice, The part numbers for the charcoal filter for this model is 17921 and the aluminum filter part number is 18031. I'm sorry but both of these have been dis-continued by the manufacturer and no satisfactory substitutions have been provided.
