Customer Questions and Answers for Hood Grease Filter by Whirlpool

This is a bifold grease filter designed for range vent hoods, used to capture grease and airborne particles generated during cooking. It sits inside the hood housing beneath the fan and traps grease before air is vented outside or recirculated. Replace this filter if it is visibly clogged with grease buildup, damaged, or no longer effectively reducing smoke and odors while cooking.
