Ofredo September 13, 2018 for Model Number T8TXNGFWQ00 This 9-year-old refrigerator has the hinge on the right. The top of the freezer door sticks out at the hinge to where this door sometimes just opens. The bottom of the freezer door aligns with the refrigerator door top and all appear to be correct. If this bracket had slots instead of holes I could probably line it up by bringing the top of the door in about 3/8". On your website it is WP2261963 and I do not see a video addressing this. The door moves freely and I am told this has been an issue for a long time. Suggestions or proper part information would be greatly appreciated.
1 Answer Hello Ofredo, In most cases what has happened is that the thimble WP2183003 has worn so it now has a slot instead of a round hole. When replaced and lubricated, it corrects the issue of the top of the door leaning out from the cabinet. Bruce M October 14, 2017 for Model Number wrt311fzdm00 Bottom hinge at times makes a loud screeching noise. Need to know what part and hopefully film on how to change it. It is a top freezer model. It could be the top hinge on the refrigeration door. Not top hinge on freezer door. Where can i get the parts and instruction on how to replace one or both of these. 1 Answer Bruce, With the bottom hinge making this noise it would have nothing to do with the top hinge. You will want to check to see if there are any screws or anything dragging on the bottom hinge.
