Hello D.D. See if it opens enough to put a nail into the holes on the hinge on both sides. If so, do that, then close until it stops and lift the door up and pull out of the receivers. Then replace the broke hinge on the unit.

Hello Walter. To remove: 1. Open door all the way. NOTE: Two 5/32" (4 mm) Allen wrenches or two nails of similar diameter may be used if factory furnished door removal pins have been misplaced. Be careful not to damage porcelain finish. 2. Insert small end of a door removal pin into each door hinge. 3. Grasp under handle and gently close door as far as it will shut. Pull door out at bottom to remove. 4. Set door aside on protected surface. To replace: 1. Fit hinge arms into slots in frame. Push in at lower corners to insure that hinge arms are fully engaged. 2. Open the door all the way. 3. Remove the door removal pins from each hole. 4. Close the door. NOTE: If the door does not operate freely, you have not installed it properly. Repeat Steps 1 to 4.

Bruce, To remove the door you will open the door all the way. There will be a hole on either hinge. There is a door removal hinge pin kit 814381 or you can put something into the hole and then close the door When close the door it will stop at a certain position in which you will push up and pull out.

David, You will need to get a piece of rigid wire like a coat hanger that has a hook on it. Get in between the door and the cabinet on the right side and slide the hook to the left to grab the latch and release it.

Hello Keith. Most of the time, the hinges go bad from sitting weight on the door. When removing items from the oven, it is not a good idea to sit it on the door and then lift it off. Also, letting the door drop down without support will damage them as well.

Al, You will want to check the oven door liner to make sure that the liner has not warped and if not then the hinges WP4455525 would need to be replaced. There are no adjustments on the hinges.

Tony, it depends on the door type. If you open the door to the first stopping point, some oven doors will lift off the unit in this position. On other models, you will see clips on the back of the hinge toward the opening where the hinge enters the range. If yours is like this, you will open the door all the way open, then pull the clips down until they stop and lock in place. Then close the door to the stopping point and lift the door off the range. If your door does not lift off, and it does not have the clips, then you will open the door all the way open. You will see a hole in the hinge at the bottom of the door. You will insert a pin or nail into that hole and close the door to the stopping point. Then you can lift the door off the unit. Hope this information helps you. Thanks!

Hello Joe. You will need to insert a pin or a large nail into the hole in the hinge with the door all the way open. Then close the door to the stopping point and lift the door off the oven. Reinstall in reverse order after the new hinges WP4455525 are installed. Hope this helps.
