Donald C. June 06, 2015 for Model Number MVWB400VQ0 A bunch of trash has collected on the screen in the cold water inlet line. I need to remove the screen to clean it thoroughly but it looks like it may be an integral part of the inlet valve assembly and not removable. How can I remove the screen?
1 Answer Hello Donald, These can normally be removed with a small screwdriver. You will bend it a bit but it is easily reshaped and can be reinstalled. Do not use the machine without the screens since this increases the probability of the valve sticking open and causing an overfill condition, possibly flooding the home. Read More...
