Jonathan January 24, 2024 for Model Number Whirlpool WMH53521HZ3 microwave A fan comes on whenever the door is closed, regardless of whether or not the oven is running. The fan stops only when I open the door (or pull the plug). I am wondering if this is a door switch problem, and if so, which one I should buy.. Many thanks
1 Answer Jonathan, This could be a door switch issue but you would need to test each one. They can be tested for continuity. The other thing it could be will be the control board if the relay for the fan is sticking. Read More...
