Mike January 15, 2012 for Model Number DE712 Jumper wire burned off at the connection to the coils. I can replace but. . . any idea why it might have happened? Corrective action? Thanks!
1 Answer Mike, That could be an indication of several things, dryer ran too long, old age of the wire, or a prolonged high amperage draw. replacing the wire and connectors, and checking for a amperage draw of 22 amps on the heater circuit, would be the basic checks and corrective action.
