Tony March 01, 2013 for Model Number SAV205DAWW PART NUMBER 27001126 WILL NOT FIT ON THE WASH/RINSE SHAFT. IT WILL FIT PLASTIC SHAFTS, BUT THE WAS/RINSE SHAFT IS METAL. DOES MAYTAG HAVE A DIFFERENT PART NUMBER FOR THE WASH/RINSE TEMP KNOB?
1 Answer Tony, Sorry, but No, There is not a different number for the water temp knob. The same knob WP27001126 is used on all three(3) switches on your machine and the water temp switch should have a "plastic" shaft 27001089. You may want to check and ensure that the metal insert from the original switch knob did not stay "stuck" on the switch shaft. Read More...
Krish May 28, 2012 for Model Number SAV515DEWW Extra rinse swith (Knob) does not fit on the Infinite water level. It has the same part number. Please advise. Thank you. krish
1 Answer Krish, Did you check the knob shaft or the metal ring insert(inside the knob shaft) for damage or cracks or breaks ? I guess you replaced the switch27001103 ? There could be a slight deviation or burr on the shaft of the switch. Thanks and Good Luck Read More...
