Greg September 23, 2017 for Model Number 110.92282100 I have an older Kenmore top loading washer. I know that the timer knob (WP3362624) unscrews, but how do you remove the rest of the timer dial to get to the screws that hold the timer
1 Answer Greg, Once you unscrew the knob the timer dial should just lift out. There may be 3 clips in the center that have to be released. Read More...
Clau May 30, 2017 for Model Number 110.81668100 Hello, I have a Kenmore washer 60 series Model 110.81668100. The plastic knob cracked and is no longer gripping the brass part attached to the machine. I ordered this part and I believe I need to unscrew the brass part in order to fit this new knob onto the shaft with the screw threads under the brass part. I tried to unscrew the brass part with pliers, but it is not budging and I am afraid force will break it. Can you please give me directions on how to unscrew the brass part so that I may replace it with this new knob?
1 Answer Hello CLau. The knob does unscrew from the timer shaft. If it si stuck, you will have to work with it until it releases. Read More...
Eulice G July 06, 2016 for Model Number 110-91250100 Hi Reference Mod No listed below. I need P/N"WP3362264 Ours broke where it screws on to the shaft. I assume that the new knob only needs to be screwed back on????? The timer is ok, as we can use the washer by using a pair of pliers to pull & push the shaft and also to turn the timer. Thanks Eulice
1 Answer Hello Gary, This knob is threaded. You will need to push the timer in to the off position and unscrew it from the timer shaft. It should be right hand threads so it will unscrew by turning it counterclockwise. Read More...
Jocelyn October 28, 2015 for Model Number 11082682810 The threaded stem broke off the control knob, so I want to replace it. But it needs to engage the D shaped hub of the control dial to turn it and I do not see how the knob does this. Will the replacement PS342371 work?
