  • Locks the cooktop down to prevent unintended lifting during use or cleaning
  • Maintains alignment so the front edge sits flush and stable
  • Reduces vibration and rattling from a loose or misaligned top
  • Common symptoms: cooktop won't latch or stay down, front gap, rattling or movement
What's included: 1 top front lock Install notes:
  • Disconnect power and allow the appliance to cool; shut off gas supply if applicable
  • Lift the cooktop to access the front frame, remove the old lock, and install the new lock in the same orientation
  • Secure with the original fasteners and verify the lock fully engages the mating catch
  • Close the cooktop and confirm a flush, stable fit

For Whirlpool Top Front Lock (Part Number: OEM18025860)

Eugene for Model Number Part Number: AP2911910 Made by: Whirlpool

Hello, I am trying to open up the washer part of a combo unit, Whirlpool Thin Twin. And according to research, I just need to get these clamps(?) off to slide the top part of the washer off, and open the front panel. Part Number: AP2911910 Made by: Whirlpool However, I tried to snap these off in every possible way, but no lock. I was wondering if you had any tips to take these off, or even images of the part shot from different angles. Thank you,

Hello Peter. Remove the two screws securing the transition panel to the unit. Tilt the transition panel down and pull it straight out. Remove the two screws located behind the washer top. Pull the washer top forward to disengage the top locks WP345670. Disconnect the washer lid switch harness. Lift the washer top off the unit. Remove the two screws from inside the top of the washer front panel. Lift up on the front panel to release the catches near the bottom of the panel and remove the front panel. The washer components can now be accessed. Hope this helps.
