Mary Ann May 20, 2016 for Model Number Mdb300awx may tag dishwasher Both racks upper & lower are rusted, tines disintegrated, falling off. Need replacements. Having difficulty locating lower rack that is no longer made. Looking at lower rack on websites I don't see the center post. Any suggestions?
1 Answer Mary Ann, The "center post" wash tower is transferable from the old rack to the new rack, it's a twist and lock arrangement. Unfortunately the manufacturer has discontinued the lower rack assembly. The manufacturer no longer sells the part and we can no longer get it from any of our suppliers. There is no substitute for the part available to us and we don’t know of any other source for the part. You may want to try contacting local parts dealers, one of them might still have it in stock. Enter your part number in a search engine, a smaller company might have it or try eBay, Amazon, or similar sites, search by using the manufacturers part number 99001515 or W10139223. The tines are all part of the rack but I noted on one of the questions to you, you answered the tines are different parts. (This was for a Maytag) but the part # was the same?
