Sdzoom October 05, 2025 for Model Number AGR5630BDS2 Amana AGR5630BDS2 gas stove. Stove top burners work fine, however the oven igniter clicks randomly even without turning the oven on. When I turn on the broiler, the igniter clicks/sparks about 3x then stops. As for the oven, I hear it click but no heat. I replaced the oven igniter but prematurely, and it's still an issue. Does this sound like a a bad spark module?

Ron April 01, 2024 for Model Number AGR5630BDS1 Top burners and broiler ignite fine. Oven burner only lights intermittently; sparks a couple times but doesn't light and then I need to turn it off because of the small of gas. No utensils in the drawer and nothing (aluminum foil or bottom liner) in the oven. Is the problem the igniter or the spark module, or is there something else I should consider?
1 Answer Ron, Rule of thumb on these type gas valves, if one solenoid doesn't work the other will not work either. A couple of measurements you can do are testing at the DSI board on connector J1 pins 1 and 2 for 8-18 VDC. Make sure you have your meter set to DC not AC. Damion February 22, 2024 for Model Number AGR6603SFW0 My todd burners work fine the broiler sparks and lights just fine. But the bake burnerit's not work fine. What it does is sparks, lightsnd then when it's done sparking, it shuts down the gas.. It doesn't do anything after that. I've already changed the gas regulator valve assembly and the igniter for the bake burperiod. I'm thinking I'm down to the drug spark board. Any ideas?

Kent September 21, 2023 for Model Number Mgr8700ds2 Oven, broiler and stove top quit working. Ignitor seems to work on all of them, it will click but no gas is flowing to any function. I checked the resistance on the solenoids, both had 216 ohms per the manual. I am suspecting it is the DSI board. Anything else I should check?

Kim December 11, 2022 for Model Number MGR6600FZ0 My oven shut off and I saw the error codes F1 and E2. I was reading that those codes may indicate that the control board may need to be replaced. There is no beeping from the stove but the codes keep flashing. I cut the breaker to the unit for 5 minutes and turned breaker back on with same results. I am prepared to order a control panel.
