Hello Nick, thank you for contacting Appliance Parts Pros. The new light module shouldn't need the screw to secure it, install it how you would the original minus the screw, and make sure to press up firmly on the new module to make the tabs that hold it engage.

Hello Natalie, using a putty knife slide it sideways into the front area on each side of the light module to release he front clips, then tilt down and out to disengage the rear clips then disconnect the wire harness.

Teddy, Remove the light lens and then there should be 4 elongated holes, 2 on either side. These are the tabs that hold the light assembly in place. release the tabs and the module will drop down.
