1 Answer Hello Michael. It sounds like the inverter W11038857 is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit. Read More...
Jeff September 12, 2015 for Model Number KSC24C8EYB02 Thanks for the prompt shipping on the LED driver unit. I swapped it out, and the problem of two dim/flickering LEDs persists. Swapping different LEDs into the sockets shows the problem stays with the sockets. I guess there must be a problem with the wiring harness between the LED driver and the LEDs, Is there any practical way to get inside the shell of the fridge to work on the harness?
1 Answer Hello Jeff. No, there is no way to get into there. You will need to check the power coming to the light driver. It may be causing the issue with the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
Jeff September 05, 2015 for Model Number KSC24C8EYB02 Two of the LED lights in the fridge side of the unit are in series, and both are very dim (barely on). I have swapped them with other good light modules, and the problem is not with the LED light modules. I assume this means there is a board powering these two LEDs which needs to be replaced. Is it the main control board or the power supply board that I should order?
1 Answer Hello Jeff, You will need to order W11038857. This is listed by the manufacturer as the LED power supply and driver. Read More...

Dennis October 31, 2013 for Model Number GSS30C7EYY00 Need LED light for this Whirlpool refrigerator. The part number is W10279030. When I select this model refrig and then click on Liner Parts the schematic tells me it is part 8, however when I select it it brings up part number AP5608198. Is this the part I need? Thanks
