The head of the screw holding the top of the handle pulled through the plastic mounting plate. Can I get custom slotted washersl or a new mounting plate for this? The screw will not release form the cabinet.

Bruce, There would be no spacers and the only way to get the handle mount would be to get the handle itself which is part number W10604264.

Hello Pat, the mounting hardware part number 4393757 was discontinued by the manufacturer and did not supply a suitable replacement to take its place.

I believe I would be able to mount a 1.7 Cu Ft. overhead microwave with a mounting kit and template. Do you supply a lot of do it yourselfers?

Cathy, unfortunately, this model does not have the necessary mounting capability for it to be mounted as an over the range microwave would.

Bought this model (MH6150XHB1) from a friend but mounting hardware was not included. Having a hard time figuring out what I need to mount it above the stove. There is a cabinet above, too. Can you tell me which kit will work?

Tracy, There is a mounting plate for the rear that has hooks on the bottom to support the lower rear of the unit. Unfortunately, if you did not receive this bracket with the unit it is no longer available. You will have to drill thru your upper cabinet for the screws WP8169704 to connect to the top of the microwave. Assuming you have the template to know where to drill. That also is no longer available from the manufacturer. Without it, you will need to do some measurements from the back wall to the distance of the mounting holes in the top of the microwave. Without the templates, it will be very difficult but you can always hire a professional from an appliance store to do the installation.
