Steve June 04, 2014 for Model Number tc900qpdq1 Is this part, AP2984036, the power nut kit, threaded on the inside to match the threads on the power screw? The ram on my compactor will not move up or down, as if the threads may be worn out. It is 15 years old+. When I removed the ram it had what appeared to be small wound pieces of plastic several places on the power screw.

1 Answer Hi Joe. You literally need to wear gloves and try to pry these locking nuts off. Part # WP9870163.They are designed to only be used one time. It may be quicker to cut them or break them off.
