Audrey September 11, 2018 for Model Number PGR5710BDW Hello, I located this unit off the marketplace and wanted to convert to LP. I cannot locate the manual nor the conversion parts. Where I live does not have NG. Can you assist?
1 Answer Audrey, This model does not require a conversion kit and you would just turn the top burners off and open the air shutters on the bottom of the burner, tighten the orifices to where they just bottom out 1 1/2 to 2 turns. For the oven do the same thing and then on the regulator cap you will flip the pin or cap inside from NAT to LP. Read More...
Guy August 14, 2016 for Model Number MGR5770ADW We bought this range with the LP orifices already installed. We need to convert it back to natural gas but do not have the orifices. How can I get them or what do I need to do? Thanks
1 Answer Hello Guy, This unit does not require changing the orifices since it has the orifice hoods. This unit is converted by adjustment. To go back to naturaql gas you will use a 1/2 inch wrench to turn the hoods counterclockwise 1 1/2 to 2 turns. Fine tune to minimize yellow tipping of the flames. The air shutters can also be used to adjust the yellow tipping out of the flames. The regulator is converted by flipping the brass nut under the plastic cap. Be sure to flip the plastic cap on the brass nut to keep it clean in case of future conversion. The hood for the bake burner is on the oven valve and is adjusted the same way as the surface orifice hoods are adjusted. The broil hood is at the base of the broil burner and is adjusted the same way also. Read More...

Jennifer L. January 26, 2012 for Model Number jenn air fcg20500w serial 19128104qw No where in the owners manual do I see how to change this to liquid propane by some adjustment in the stove instead of a conversion kit from ng to lp. How do I adjust this range to use LP gas? I have seen this range at Habitat for Humanity and it is on sale and I want to buy it but only if I can convert or adjust it to LP. Thank you
1 Answer Hello Jennifer. They do not list the conversions in the owners manual of the unit. Conversion is suppose to be done by a certified gas technician. They will flip the regulator of the unit from natural to LP, and will tighten the orifices on the cooktop and the oven all the way down, and then come back up with then 1/2 a round. Then you adjust the orifices until the flame is a clear blue and no yellow is seen. Hope this helps. Read More...
