Brian D Broken Arrow , OK December 05, 2014 Appliance: Maytag Self Cleaning Free Standing Gas Range MGR5751BDW Gas lines broke Replaced the lines, however the model maytag I was working un is a poor design. When you lift the top up to access the lines, you are putting pressure on the gas lines. If you lift it up, then down several times; then you risk bending the tubing and it will break. My recomendation is for do-it-yourselfers to lift it, install it, and close it in one step so you don't bend or break the lines again. Hope this helps. Brandon K Gold Hill , OR May 09, 2017 Two front gas lines cracked at the valve fittings causing a dangerous situation Relpaced both sets of gas lines/burners. They came with Natural gas orafaces preinstalled, so I backed them out with a wrench and reused my LP orafaces instead. Worked like a dream should. Orafaces were snug, taking out and putting in, but they are coated with some sort of pipe sealer. Maybe took 30 minutes to remove, swap orafaces, then replace the new parts. Works perfectly! Cece C Coronado , CA May 31, 2022 Appliance: Model LGR 3330 ADW MAYTAG STOVE The stove gas burners would not turn on. I replaced the burner units only to discover 2 of the metal tubing connectors under the lid to the gas were broken. No wonder I smelled gas often. I first tried to just replace the tubing from the burner to the gas source which are controlled by the control knobs on the front of the stove. It was impossible to connect the parts because of the location. I would have cut my hands on the Orifice tube assembly that was in there. The stove is about 18 years old and has had only 1 burner assembly replaced in all that time. I then bought both of the entire orifice tube assemblies. They were delivered in one day. With the online instructions that AppliancePartsPros.com provided, it was an easy, simple process to replace them. It was a perfect fit. An all in one unit. The repair took about an hour. I highly recommend AppliancePartsPros.com! Ordering was easy…fast delivery…helpful employees. I saved about $200 and learned a new skill. I am a woman and have never even looked under the top of the stove. With all the parts replaced, it should last another 18 years! If not, I can replace parts again! Thank you! Matthew B Danville , PA January 05, 2015 My gas range had a mouse nest inside in removing the cooktop i pinched the gas tubes that feed the two front burners The left two and right two burners come as an assembly each. I ordered the replacement assemblies, "orifice tubes" and replaced my pinched ones with the new. The only issue I ran into was my stove runs on LP Gas and the orifices in the new assemblies were for Natural Gas. No matter, I just removed the four orifices that came with the new assemblies and replaced with the four orifices from my unit. The entire job took just over an hour.
