Liz November 16, 2013 for Model Number MDB9750AWW Dishwasher lights stopped working, used it this way for a long time, never changed settings. Now dishwasher just quit, nothing at all happens when start is pushed. What do you think I need to fix this?
1 Answer Hello Liz. It sounds like the control panel is bad and will need to be replaced. Make sure there is power coming to the control board. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...

Bbrid April 18, 2012 for Model Number mdb9750aws What is the process to replace the control panel? It looks like mine needs to be replaced based on your previous answers.
1 Answer Hello Bbrid. You will need to disconnect the power to the unit. Then remove the screws securing the inner door panel. Remove the inner door panel and remove the cover off the control board. Remove the ribbon cable from the control board and remove the screws holding the control board housing in place. Next remove the screws holding the control panel 6-919008 in place. Reinstall with the new control panel in reverse order. Hope this helps. Read More...
Bobby September 18, 2011 for Model Number MDB9750AWS The buttons on the top of my control panel do not seem to be working. The lights do not come on when I press the buttons. When I press the start/cancel button, the washer does start a wash cycle but I do not see any numbers in the center of the control panel (which usually displays the time remaining in the cycle). My best guess is that it is a control panel issue, but could it be something else, like the control board?
1 Answer Hello Bobby. Yes, based on the information you provided, it sounds like the control panel 6-919008 is bad and will need to be replaced. Hope this helps. Read More...
