Hello Steven! Unfortunately, the stainless outer door panel 99002169 has been discontinued and is no longer available. The part in black is available as part number 99001417. The control panel in black, part number 99001767, has been discontinued however, the timer knob part number 99001780 is still available. Thanks.

Hello, I have a maytag mdb 6650awq dishwasher. We are changing to black appliances and are having the refrigerator painted. I wish to have the decorator panels on the dw painted as well if I can replace the current almond control panel cover with a black cover. Is this as simple as I believe it to be.Thanks cwryland

I'm looking at the stainless steel door panel #99002169 to replace the black panel on my Maytag MDB7100AWB dishwasher. Your answer to a previous question (from Sandy) concerning this model and part is it IS compatible as a replacement door panel. When I use your Appliance Compatibility Tool the response is it is NOT compatible. Can you please confirm if this stainless panel is or is not compatible with my dishwasher? Thanks.

You indicated in a previous question that the replacement of the front panel on MDB5130 models involved only two screws. Is it also that simple on my model? I am also thinking of replacing the black front panel with stainless to match other appliances. Thanks

Lloyd, Yes, you have a similar outer door panel on your unit. You should be able to remove the two screws at the bottom on the panel sides and pull the panel out at the bottom and slide the panel down and off the outer door assembly. the S/S door panel will be 99002169 and the screws (qty 2) 912619 .
