Laura Harris September 11, 2021 for Model Number Kitchen aid YKGRT607 HBS4 Hi, I am looking for a replace meat probe but it has been discontinued. What is the replacement? Many thanks, Laura
1 Answer Laura, Thanks for the question!!! Unfornatunely, if our site shows discontinued, that means the manufacturer has not listed a suitable replacement for that part. Sorry to give you the bad news. Read More...
Art M January 01, 2018 for Model Number Kerc607h8t8 Probe inserted but no recognition on control panel. Had previously worked but was submersed in water for short period of time. Hestitant to order replacement if internal jack defect is a possibility.
1 Answer Art, If you go to the control board where the meat probe connects then you will want to make sure that there is continuity. If there is then this will just be a probe that is faulty. Read More...
Jim M. August 15, 2015 for Model Number KDDT207BWH7 After inserting the meat probe into the jack, it allowed me to set the desired temperature for the probe and the oven, but when I pressed the start button the oven beeped and the probe icon begins to flash. Is this the result of a bad probe or a bad jack in the oven?
1 Answer Hello Jim, This is normally caused by contaminants and condensation in the probe receptacle 3150107 in the oven wall. I'm sorry but this part has been discontinued by the manufacturer and no satisfactory substitutions have been provided. The probe can be at fault but is normally not the cause. Read More...
Daniel January 23, 2012 for Model Number kgrt607hwh5 Our range well ask us to insert the probe. We do not have a probe, never have and have never used it. Is this the part that the range is asking for and if so how can we correct this problem. Thank you
1 Answer Daniel, Yes, WP3150144 would be the correct part for the auto temp cycle "meat probe". But since you've never used that option , you may want to check the receptacle in the oven cavity roof or right side wall near the ceiling and make sure it is properly mounted and fits tight to the cavity wall. Moisture or condensation enterring the receptacle, can create the same issue, some people purchase a stainless steel "button" from the local home improvement center and snap it into the receptacle opening to solve that issue. Otherwise the issue will be in the control board and console assembly(s) 9781973CW and 9781980, but these parts have been discontinued by the manufacturer and are not available at present. Good Luck and Thanks Read More...
