Jeremy October 26, 2011 for Model Number du1055xtvs3 My dishwasher does not drain completely at the end of any cycle. I have pulled the drain pump out and it is clean. Turned pump on while I had it out, running fine. Drain lines are not clogged. I ran the dishwasher with the drain hose disconnected from my plumbing and had the hose in a bucket. At the end of the wash cycle the drain pump comes on and water slowly comes out of the hose, but the cycle turns off before the dishwasher has drained completely. If I push the drain button after the cycles shuts the dishwasher down, then the water will slowly pump into the bucket and drain the water out. What could it be besides the pump just not strong enough to get enough pressure to push the water out?
1 Answer Hello Jeremy. It sounds like the drain hose has a partial clog in it. Try removing the drain hose from the pump and see if the pump works properly. If so, there is a blockage inside the drain hose. If the pump does the same thing without the drain hose hooked up, and the sump assembly is clear, you may need to replace the drain pump WPW10348269. Steve S. October 12, 2011 for Model Number DU1100XTPQ7 During the wash cycles and maybe the rinse cycles the water can be heard splasing around and thus cleaning but there is a loud buzz/hum during the entire cycle. It seems to originate from the lower right area when facing the dishwasher. What can I replace that will eliminate that loud noise?
2 Answers Hi Steve. We are in the parts selling business along with helping customers repair as best as we can. Take the lower kick plate off and remove power. Remove the pump intake and use a shop vac to clean up water. Unhook the drain hose from the sink also and clean both areas. If the pump impeller is spinning loose on the shaft then you will need to replace the pump. Part # is WPW10348269. Then remove the racks and clean from the top wash arms down. Clean the filter / pump and impeller chopper blade. This will help take the stress off while washing. Make sure the 4- legs are touching the floor as the unit is level also front to bak and side to side. Thank You. Read More...

2 Answers Hello Steve. Check and see if there is debris inside the sump assembly and it is causing the noise you are hearing. If not, you will need to see if the noise is coming from the motor. If so, you will need to replace the motor assembly WPW10757217. Hope this helps. Read More...
Harry September 27, 2011 for Model Number KUDIO2FRSS1 My dishwasher is not draining at all. I reomoved and inspected entire drain line from dishwasher to garbage disposal and found a clog at garbage disposal end of line. I reconnected lines and started the dishwasher with the same problem. Is it possible the clog burned out the drain pump? If so is this part able to be replaced easily or is it a difficult job? Will I need to remove other parts to access drain pump?
1 Answer Hello Harry. Test for power coming to the drain pump. If it is there, and the lines are clear, and the unit does not drain, you will need to replace the drain pump WPW10348269. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Erick August 24, 2011 for Model Number MDB8959AWW2 The dishwasher will not drain completely at the end of a cycle. Pushing cancel/drain a few times will eventually drain the tub. I have replaced the drain pump and made sure the drain line is clear but continue to have the problem with the new pump. Where should I look next?
1 Answer Hello Erick. Based on the information you provided, you will need to check and see if there are any clogs in the drain system. Try blowing through the drain hose and make sure it is clear. A partial clog can cause the problems your having. Hope this helps. Read More...
Amber March 29, 2011 for Model Number GU2275XTVYO My dishwasher will drain but it does not seem that it has enough power to drain it completely. At the end of the cycle there is standing water left in the dishwasher. If I press the cancel/drain button it will remove the rest of the water. But when you listen to the water in the pipes it sounds like a slow trickle rather than an actual push of water. Will replacing the drain pump fix this issue?
1 Answer Hello Amber. You will need to check and see if the pump or the drain hose is clogged with debris. If both are clear, then you will need to replace the pump assembly. Hope this helps. Read More...
