  • Helps the unit reach and maintain the set temperature
  • Common failure symptoms: temperature too hot/cold vs. setting, long/short cycling, failure to reach setpoint, or related error codes
  • Tests out-of-range for resistance/ohms when defective
What's included

Jeff, The most likely cause for the oven not working would either be faulty elements or a faulty control board. You can visually check the element to make sure that they are good. Test the control board by checking voltage. Also check the power supply to make sure that there is 240vac getting to the unit.

Roger, A new oven temp. sensor should have a resistance of 1050 to 1100 ohms. Since the sensor is new, you'll need to check the wiring from the sensor connection up to the ERC/clock, make sure there are no broken wires, or damaged insulation and no loose connections. You may want to disconnect the sensor harness from the ERC and check the resistance across the wires in the connector. if you have the correct resistance, the ERC/Clock Y0309441is at fault
