The Timer Knob Skirt is an OEM part for Whirlpool dryers. It serves as the decorative and functional ring around the timer knob, providing a clear and easy-to-read display for selecting drying cycles and settings. The skirt ensures that the timer knob remains securely in place and enhances the overall appearance of the dryer control panel.

Over time, the timer knob skirt can become damaged or worn out due to regular use, accidental impacts, or exposure to harsh cleaning agents. When the skirt is compromised, it may affect the functionality and aesthetics of the dryer controls.

Symptoms of a bad timer knob skirt include:

  • Difficulty in turning the timer knob
  • The timer knob becoming loose or falling off
  • Inaccurate or unclear cycle selection markings
  • Cracks, breaks, or discoloration of the skirt

This OEM part is also compatible with Maytag, KitchenAid, Jenn-Air, Amana, Magic Chef, Admiral, Norge, Roper, and Kenmore models.
