Kelly July 20, 2020 for Model Number KWE200A How to release the mounting ring on an older model, there is a small spring wire with a red rubber end cap between the sink and the top of the disposal, rather than the newer ramped ring type that you turn clockwise/counter clockwise to lock the newer disposal in place.
