Hello Lisa. Disconect the power and remove the screws at the back of the top panel. Slide the panel off the unit. Now you can access the tabs for the door switch. Squeeze the tabs and remove the switch from the unit. Now you can replace the switch.

Hello KD, Yes, the light switch is bad if the light stays on when the switch is pushed. This will also cause the unit to not start because it thinks the door is open.
