1 Answer Hello Gwendolyn, If no wiring issues are present and the oven sensor 12001655 tests about 1100 ohms at about 70°F, the problem will be in the control 12001620. I'm sorry but this part has been discontinued by the manufacturer and no satisfactory substitutions have been provided. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter. Read More...

Grace S. December 30, 2012 for Model Number CWE4800ACB This 2002 built in oven was taken out of home and reinstalled in an auxillary building next door, however, I am finding that the oven temperature only comes on using the up arrow, then you cannot lower it with the down arrow button. I don't remember if this is how it worked before it was transferred, but I'd like to know if it was miswired. I see something called a rocker switch. Would replacing this solve this problem? Seems there should be a way to lower the temperature in order to preheat, for example, we had frozen foods that were cooked and defrosted and only needed warming but the lowest temperature we could heat on was 350 degrees, wound up burning a delicious sweet potatoe casserole for Christmas dinner. Hope you can help.
1 Answer Hello Grace, The only thing that will fix this is replacing the clock assembly WPW10201915. Read More...
