Clamsteam June 10, 2019 for Model Number PAV2300AWW Hi: I have a Maytag Pav2300aww about 20 years old. When I set water level to 'low' the machine fills up to the medium level. I know this because when I switch to medium doesn't fill further but if I turn to large it continues to fill. Can you suggest a part please? I'm not sure if I need the part in the tub or the selector in the panel. Thank you....no money to waste.
1 Answer Hello Clamsteam, you would need the water level switch located in the control panel, part WP21001554, You may also want to replace the airline tube at same time part WP21001748 Drain out all water from tub prior to replacing these parts. Read More...

Timothy August 01, 2017 for Model Number PAV3300AWW Hello, we have figured out that the tubing that connects to the water level switch has come disconnected inside the back of the machine. I have a Maytag pav3300aww model washer. I have taken the control panel off so that I can see the switch and tubing going in. But I cannot figure out how to get the Shell off so that I can connect the tubing on the other end, so how do i get to the other side of the tubing? thank you.
1 Answer Timothy, To access all of the internal components, you need to raise the top panel, and remove the front panel. Use a putty knife or similar thin flat blade tool. Insert the tool into the seam between the front panel and the top panel approximately 3 inches in from the cabinet / top panel corners. Press in on the tool to release the retainer springs, and lift up on the corners of the top to release and raise it. Remove the two 5/16" hex head screws holding the front panel to the cabinet cross brace, pull the panel out towards you at the top, and lift the lower part of the panel up and off the retainer clips attached to the base. You should find the air dome hose/tube attached to the tub outlet in the right rear corner of the cabinet. Read More...
