Connie for Model Number WED5800BW0

i was switching from a 4 prong cord to a 3 prong cord & something fell down inside the dryer cabinet (i think it was a screw because when I moved the dryer, that was what I found) I noticed the middle terminal (white cover wire)where you connect the cord is silver & the other terminals (one red & one black cover wires) are gold. I just want to confirm that he middle terminal suppose to be that way or do all suppose to be be gold. Not sure is the middle terminal suppose to have a gold cover. Please help

Hello Carla, You will want to check to make sure that there is nothing caught in the blower wheel. If there is something caught that could cause a dragging of the motor and can cause it is trip on overload. You will also want to check to make sure that the vent is clear. If this checks ok then you will need to replace the motor.
