Hello David, This is the symptom of a dryer exhaust restriction. You should check the exhaust from the rear of the dryer and outside atmosphere. You see, if the dryer cannot get rid of the heat, lint, and moisture out of the exhaust, it will blow past the felt seals around the drum directly back into the cabinet where it is passed back across the clothes where the moisture sensors pick it up and voltage is not sent to the timer motor for advancement. To prove this, disconnect the duct from the rear of the dryer and you will see the timer advance within the first 5 minutes or so.
