Kelvin April 27, 2021 for Model Number 110.75132412 My dryer's timer does not move to OFF in any cycle so dryer keeps running endlessly. The dryer heats normally in the Auto Moisture and Sensing and Timed cycles. In Air Only, drum tumbles with air only. Also we stopped using the Auto Moisture Sensing mode because clothes tends to be not dry (Hot/Cotton setting) early on and only used the timed cycle.
1 Answer Kelvin, Thanks for the question and based on the information provided it sounds as if your timer would be your issue. WPW10186032 Read More...
Tom D. April 03, 2020 for Model Number Kenmore dryer 110.61202011 My dryer stopped heating on Time Dry setting but worked okay on Auto Moisture setting for a while. Now Auto Moisture setting has very little heat at the higher moisture setting. There is no heat at the lower moisture setting.
1 Answer Hello Tom, This is most likely caused by a failed electronic control board WPW10476828. Read More...
Jeff January 31, 2019 for Model Number 110.65132411 Kenmore dryer will heat but the motor won't turn. I replaced the motor with one I had in the shop and had the same result. According to the tech sheet, the LBU and W wires supply power for the motor. The red wires handle power through to the element. When not working, I'm reading 20VAC to the motor. After pushing the start button, I read less than 1VAC to the motor. Is this the fault of the timer or the control board on this model? If neither, what do I check next?
1 Answer Jeff, what you will want to do is test the timer to ensure that it is sending 120VAC to the motor. If it is not sending 120VAC to the motor, then you have a bad timer. Read More...
Joe Snider December 06, 2017 for Model Number Kenmor #110.61202011 Dryer is not heating on Auto Moisture Sensing, but works fine on Time Dry. Any suggestions?
1 Answer Joe, You will want to try cleaning the sensor bars with alcohol swab to make sure that it does not have any build up on it. If this does not correct then check the wiring of the sensor bars and if the wiring is good then will likely be a bad sensor bar W10816105. Read More...
J.C. July 12, 2016 for Model Number 11061202011 Installed new upper and lower thermostat no power to upper thermostat traced red wire back to timer is that where the power comes from got power to the other lower thermostat checked fuses and all good got 220v at back of dryer can I check the timer with a meter?
1 Answer Hello J.C., You can pull one wire off of the heater or thermostat to separate L1 from L2. You can now test to ground from the terminal and from ground to the wire removed when the heating circuit is energized. One side will have 120Vac and the other SHOULD also. The side with no voltage can be back traced to the problem. A common failure is the centrifugal switch in the motor assembly []. The red wire from timer terminal "A" carries 120Vac from the timer to the heating circuit. This would be the test point for the timer. The heating circuit has to be broken and energized to separate L1 form L2 to determine the origin of the issue in this test also. Read More...

Joe G January 28, 2015 for Model Number 110.6120 2011 Dryer heats up but heat turns off as timer goes down in time.
1 Answer Hello Joe. If the heat stops during the cool down cycle, then that is normal. If it stops during the normal cycle, then the timer may be bad and need to be replaced. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
