Questions & Answers

For Whirlpool Dryer Timer (Part Number: OEM18025050)

1 Answer

Dennis, If the timer does not advance on the "timed dry" setting, Yes consider the timer has failed, unless you find a loose or detached wire at the timer motor terminals. You also need to check the exhaust vent system for kinks and clogs and a "dirty" lint filter, since the "auto advance" cycle had an issue as well. Good Luck and Thanks.
