For Whirlpool Refrigerator Defrost Timer (Part Number: OEM17955633)

Chris for Model Number CS22CFXTB00

I asked this question...I just purchased a w10822278. Which terminal does black wire go to for a Crowley cs22cfxtb00 Chris for Model Number W10822278 ANSWER Based on your wiring diagram you have a " "Version1" Cumulative Compressor run application" which requires you use "Procedure 2" on the timer instruction sheet. "Procedure 2" states that the black wire goes on terminal #2 of the timer. When I hooked it to terminal 2 the fan in the freezer does not start. I put old timer back on and it runs. the unite was freezing. I just replaced the thermostat and was going to replace the timer. Any thoughts?

Chris, The proper location for the black wire is on the number 2. Most of the timers come in the defrost mode so just advance the knob slightly till you hear a click then it should start cooling.
