John April 06, 2016 for Model Number 110.92581200 Kenmore Waster My washer only works in Fast/Fast (Wash Action Dial). When in the other modes it fills and stops. Both motor speeds seem to work.
1 Answer John, The timer would most likely be the issue if it will work for only one setting of speeds. The timer part number is WP3946471. Read More...
1 Answer Scott, You're on the right track, If the washer will fill and drain, i's not likely the motor, lid switch or drain pump. It's most likely the timer WP3946471 has a faulty agitate contact. It could be the water level switch contacts WP3356464 but that's less likely. Read More...
John November 21, 2012 for Model Number Kenmore washer timer moderl #3946471 My washer doesn't spin. The contacts on the timer are burned/corroded. The one for the spin cycle looks like it is burned/melted a bit. Is there anyway to repair or replace the contacts without buying a new timer?

Steve October 30, 2012 for Model Number 110.92582110 I replaced the timer because the washer would not drain or spin. It does drain now but the spin cycle is missing. Odd thing occurs though at the end of the drain cycle , if I open the lid and the unit quickly tries to spin then stops, then when the lid is closed it starts spinning. If I don't open the lid it just drains and never spins, but the timer keeps advancing to the next cycle till it hits an OFF point. Then we find the laundry wet, the tub drained but no spin. No sure where to look next. Any idea? Thanks
1 Answer Hello Steve. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the clutch assembly 285785 is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit. This will cause the no spin you are having with the unit. Read More...
Steve October 12, 2012 for Model Number 110.92582110 how do you remove the timer? I can get the knob and clear plastic ring off but not the black plastic plate. thanks
1 Answer Steve, we take for granted that you mean the timer dial. Once you unscrew the timer knob, you should be able to slip the dial off of the white plastic portion of the timer shaft. You will need to be carefull, the timer dial is no longer available. You may want to take a cloth or wrag, slip it in the gap between the back of the dial and the control panel , twist the cloth together and use that as leverage to pull the dial off the timer shaft. Then you can remove the two timer mounting screws and diamount the timer. Read More...
