Nestor, It should not make a difference in the A, B, C, or D at the end of the number on the back of the timer as those are just revision numbers. The part number that shows for your unit will be WP3948323.

Aaron for Model Number Whirlpool LSR7133KQ0

Hello, my washer quit working mid spin cycle awhile back. I bypassed to the lid switch to check if that was the problem and it was. At least it appeared that way at the time, it has now been replaced and quit running again... If I leave it plugged in, it kicks on when I open the top cover but shuts off as I close it, I can see an an arcing short if i move the harness and it will kick on/off. The short is, in the wiring harness (black wire) that runs into the timer (3948323C) The timer itself seems to be working but I keep finding the timer and not the wiring harness as a replacement part, do you sell it/can I replace it/do they come together?

1 Answer

Aaron, The wire harness for your unit would be part number 3954932 but unfortunately has been discontinued by the manufacturer with no suitable replacement available.

Danny, If the unit is draining but not spinning then the issue will be caused by a faulty neutral drain which is part number 388253A.

Hello Joe, Based on the information provided it sounds like you have a bad timer WP3948323 and would need to be replaced. You may also want to check the lid switch to make sure that the switch has good continuity with the lid closed. This will ensure that the switch is not shorting out.
