Terry October 04, 2012 for Model Number EED4100SQ0 The dryer would not turn off at the end of the cycle. I purchased and installed the part: DRYER: Whirlpool Estate Heavy Duty extra large capacity MODEL EED4100SQ0 TYPE D433-ELE-2406026-FM54 Part# 3977456. There was no change after installing. Do I need to replace the Control Part# 3977456? I am asking in advance of purchase as the part is a bit spendy. Regards, Terry
1 Answer Terry, are you sure the dryer is heating properly ? The push to start switch was a good place to start, but now you'll need to look at the timer circuits WP8299780, especially across the BK(black) and BU(blue) terminals of the timer.
